G3 Christmas Party

15 December 2011

Michelle's place
Mount Maunganui

Yeah our first G3 christmas function........

Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best so we couldn't have a decent wonder around Michelle's lovely garden. But with a glass of wine in hand we ventured out to stand under the eves to pass our eye over her beautiful garden. Michelles garden is a formal garden based around a central square courtyard. The boundary fence is 2.5 metre ivy covered and encloses three garden 'rooms'. The central room or courtyard is edged with pittosporum golf balls, standard iceberg roses and robinia moptops. Lirope is used as the border of the rose and cottage garden which as a feature wooden gate which leads to the beach. The other room is structured on Japonica Buxus (hedged), red wine magnolia (hedged), white perennial and a mixture of pink, purple and white standard roses.
Then back to eating and drinking and chit chat about gardening and the up coming year of garden adventures.

Cheers girls
Look forward to 2012 G3
Donna
